Cleaning Assistant
Based: Ghyll Head Outdoor Education & Activity Centre, Windermere, Cumbria
Salary:£13.45 per hour.
Position Type: Salaried part time
Hours: 24 hours per week. These hours can be flexible e.g 3 days of 8 hours or 4 days of 6 hours to fit in with school runs. Happy to discuss other options. Some weekend working will be expected.
Lunch is provided within working hours.

GLL is looking for a qualified and experienced Cleaning Assistant to join our team at Ghyll Head Outdoor Education & Activity Centre, Windermere. What you’ll do:

Day-to-day cleaning and maintenance of the Centre.

Sandwich making working alongside the catering team. Our Centre can be very busy, so you'll need to thrive in this setting.
What you need:

Ideally, you'll have experience of cleaning in a?working environment with good customer care skills and knowledge of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Heath).

If you don't yet have it, we'll provide full training on how to use appropriate machinery and chemicals.

Successful applicants will also be trained to Food Hygiene Level 2 if not already qualified.

Adhering to Health and Safety requirements and regulations are crucial, so you'll need to be hard working and conscientious to carry out all duties to meet our high customer care standard.
