Technical Assistant
Location: Northamptonshire
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 DOE
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
A growing specialist contractor is seeking a Technical Assistant to support and oversee roofing and waterproofing installations across commercial and industrial projects. This role is focused more on supervising works, quality control, and technical support rather than hands-on installation, although previous installation experience is essential.
Responsibilities
- Oversee roofing and waterproofing installations on-site
- Ensure works are completed to specification and quality standards
- Support site teams with technical guidance and problem solving
- Carry out inspections, reporting, and progress updates
- Liaise with contractors, site managers, and clients
Requirements
- Proven experience within roofing and waterproofing
- Strong knowledge of roofing systems and waterproofing materials
- Previous installation experience essential
- CSCS card required
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong communication and organisational skills
