Lettings Negotiator
A leading property firm with a strong presence in Hertfordshire, specialising in property sales and lettings, is an established organisation with a proven track record of success. They pride themselves on offering outstanding service and expert advice to their clients and now seek a likeminded and experienced Lettings Negotiator to join their successful lettings team.
Job Summary:
The Lettings Negotiator will play a key role in managing client relationships, handling property viewings, and negotiating tenancy applications. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, a proactive attitude, and the drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment. The role requires adaptability under pressure, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly and professionally to all telephone and email enquiries.
- Fully register and qualify applicants for lettings.
- Match available properties with applicants and proactively schedule viewings.
- Conduct property viewings and showcase properties to potential tenants.
- Negotiate tenancy applications with both landlords and tenants, ensuring all agreements are satisfactory.
- Provide landlords with timely viewing feedback and keep them updated on market conditions.
- Prepare accurate and detailed property descriptions for marketing purposes.
- Take high-quality property photographs for listing and promotional use.
- Collaborate closely with the Branch Manager to stay informed about upcoming properties and market strategies.
- Coordinate with administration and property management teams to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Monitor and stay informed of general lettings market trends and competitor properties
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Lettings Negotiator with a successful track record.
- Excellent communication, listening, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in using estate agency software package.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driving license is essential.
