Transport Executive
Our client, a successful and growing educational travel company, is seeking a Transport Executive to join their transport team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised individual with strong administrative and customer service skills to develop their career within the travel sector.
Transport Executive – What will I be doing?
- Coordinating air, rail and coach travel arrangements for educational group tours
* Obtaining competitive transport quotations and identifying the best travel solutions
* Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to secure and confirm bookings
* Managing booking deadlines and ensuring all transport requirements are completed on time
* Maintaining accurate booking records and transport information
* Building strong relationships with transport suppliers
* Resolving transport-related queries and ensuring a smooth customer experience
* Delivering exceptional customer service in every interaction
Transport Executive – What experience do I need?
We are looking for someone with previous experience in administration, travel, logistics, transport coordination or customer service.
You will be highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to deadlines. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and confidence using Microsoft Office are essential.
You must be able to work independently as well as part of a team and enjoy building strong working relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
Transport Executive – What else do I need to know?
- This role is office based in either Surrey, Essex or Lancashire
* Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week with flexible working hours available
* Previous experience within the travel sector would be advantageous but is not essential
* Knowledge of educational travel, European destinations, foreign languages or holding a driving licence would be beneficial
