The Opportunity

We are supporting a leading Chartered Financial Planning and Professional Services firm with the appointment of an experienced Chartered Financial Planner.

Working alongside an established team of advisers, you will inherit a diverse portfolio of High-Net-Worth and Ultra-High-Net-Worth clients, providing an excellent platform to build long-term relationships and deliver high-quality financial planning solutions. The business places a strong emphasis on client outcomes, technical excellence and personalised advice rather than high-volume sales.

You will be responsible for managing and developing your client portfolio, providing holistic financial planning advice and delivering intelligent, creative solutions to complex client needs. The successful candidate will be supported by a highly experienced paraplanning, administration and compliance team, allowing them to focus on delivering exceptional client service.

This role offers the opportunity to further develop your expertise through:

  • Inheriting an established portfolio of clients.
  • Working with a broad range of complex planning cases.
  • Mentoring junior advisers and supporting their professional development.
  • Building your personal profile through networking, marketing and professional activities.
  • Collaborating with specialists across complementary professional services disciplines.

Location

This role offers a flexible, home-based working arrangement, combined with travel for client meetings and occasional office attendance as required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional levels of client service and relationship management.
  • Provide holistic financial planning advice across a range of client needs.
  • Manage ongoing review processes in line with client service agreements.
  • Ensure all client files and recommendations remain fully compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop proactive and innovative solutions to meet client objectives.
  • Act as an ambassador for the firm's financial planning proposition and wider professional services offering.


About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Diploma qualified status as a minimum, with Chartered or Advanced Diploma status preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge across investment planning, retirement planning, estate planning and personal protection.
  • Experience advising High-Net-Worth clients and managing ongoing client relationships.
  • A broad understanding of financial planning products, providers and solutions.
  • The ability to communicate complex financial planning concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
  • A client-centric approach with a proven track record of building trusted relationships.
