Job description:  

• Daily Rate: £168.80 – £232.57
• Location: Rochdale, OL12
• Job Type: Temporary, Part-time

Reed/ Lancashire teaching agency are seeking a Year 1 Teacher for a primary school for temporary position from September 2026 for Thursdays and Fridays and is expected to last on an ongoing basis.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons appropriate for Key Stage 1
• Assess and record students' progress, preparing them for end-of-year expectations.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning.
• Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the educational environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching at the primary level.
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and inspire students.
• Ability to plan and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum.
