Management Accountant
Basildon, Hybrid Working
£40,000 – £45,000 – Depending on stage of Qualification.
We’re working with an established and growing, fast-moving organisation in Basildon who are looking to strengthen their finance team with the addition of a Management Accountant.
The role
This is a broad Management Accounts role where you’ll support multiple entities within the group.
- Producing monthly management accounts
- Carrying out variance analysis (actual vs budget, income/expenditure, aged debtors)
- Supporting group month-end reporting
- Preparing and submitting income flash reports
- Assisting with statutory accounts
- Preparing FCA returns (RMAR)
- Getting involved in wider finance projects and process improvements
- Overseeing purchase ledger and cashbook routines
About you
- Qualified or part-qualified (ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Around 3+ years’ experience in a management accounts role
- Exposure to an FCA/PRA regulated environment
- SOX knowledge would be a bonus, but not essential
