The London Borough of Harrow is looking for a motivated Occupational Therapist to join its Adult Social Care Integrated Front Door Service. This fast-paced role focuses on rapid response, early intervention, and delivering timely support to adults, children, and carers across the borough.
You will assess needs, develop care plans, recommend equipment and adaptations, and provide advice on moving and handling to support independent living. The role places a strong emphasis on prevention, Reablement, and Technology Enabled Care (TEC), helping residents remain safe and independent in their own homes.
Working within a supportive multi-disciplinary team, you will deliver strengths-based assessments in line with the Care Act 2014 and contribute to positive outcomes from the first point of contact.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Enhanced DBS check
- Knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and related legislation
- Ability to maintain professional standards and accurate records
- Experience carrying out assessments and developing support plans
- Commitment to promoting independence and person-centred practice
