We are working with a local authority client who is looking to appoint a Print & Post Administration Assistant to support their busy operations team. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone with strong administrative skills and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Sorting and opening incoming post
- Scanning and indexing documents accurately
- Operating envelope inserter machines to prepare outgoing mail
- Franking post as required
- Using large photocopiers and print finishing equipment (training provided)
- Maintaining accurate records of volumes, processes, and outputs
- General administration including use of Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and internal systems
- Supporting a small team across a range of operational and administrative tasks
Requirements
- Previous experience in administration or office-based roles
- Strong attention to detail and ability to process high volumes of work accurately
- Confident using Microsoft Office (particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable handling physical tasks, including lifting and moving boxes
- Able to work in a role that involves both standing and seated duties
- Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Additional Information
- This role requires flexibility to attend site in Stratford-upon-Avon when needed
- Ideal for candidates with experience in administration, mailroom, print, or back-office support environments
