We are seeking an experienced Media Lecturer to join our dynamic team at the  campus. This role involves teaching across all levels of Media Studies qualifications, with a focus on Media – Animation, Gaming and Graphics, and Sound/Esports courses. The ideal candidate will have a robust knowledge of BTEC qualifications and up-to-date industry experience.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Teach and guide learners across various levels of Media Studies qualifications.
  • Utilise your knowledge of BTEC qualifications to deliver comprehensive and engaging courses in Media – Animation, Gaming and Graphics, and Sound/Esports.
  • Stay updated with industry trends to enhance teaching materials and provide relevant insights to students.
  • Participate in curriculum development activities to ensure the courses meet the highest educational standards.
  • Engage with students to motivate and inspire them towards academic and professional excellence.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must hold a Media qualification.
  • Full teaching qualification or actively working towards one.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively motivate and inspire learners.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, combined with proficient IT knowledge and sound administration abilities.
  • Ability to maintain high standards of teaching and contribute positively to the academic environment.
