Role Purpose
At Premier Foods, we’re passionate about turning insight into action—and this role sits right at the centre of it. You’ll take on a strategic, high-impact position, shaping category direction, influencing senior stakeholders and driving commercial performance across key channels.
As Senior Commercial Planning Manager working in our flavours & seasoning department, you’ll play a central leadership role within our Commercial Planning team, partnering across Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain to deliver against key business objectives. With a strong focus on Discounters and Ireland, you’ll translate strategy into action—ensuring we deliver across turnover, profit, innovation and market share.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading cross functional monthly category planning meetings
- Analysing and reviewing business forecast & key issues in business planning process influencing Customer and Sales Directors to drive outperformance.
- Ensuring Sales and Customer strategies are integrated into brand plans by influencing Brand Directors.
- Responsible for translating brand & category strategies into plans to deliver budgeted sales, profit and NPD targets
- Developing, agreeing, driving execution of promotional strategy and guidelines across all brands / channels within the category.
- Designing of pack, price & promotional architecture specific to channel and format
- Accountable for the commercialisation of NPD including pricing, promotional support and ensuring execution through the sales team achieving objectives
- Accountable for creating the sell stories / decks for NPD (not writing every page but ensuring it meets the needs of the business)
What we need from you
- Strong FMCG Sales/Account Management experience (major mults is preferred)
- Commercial and financial expertise
- Analytical and strategic thinking
- Strong communication and influencing skills
