Senior Broker
Location: Hybrid (3 days office-based, 2 days working from home)
The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Broker to join a growing insurance business. This role will focus on developing new business opportunities generated through marketing activities, whilst also managing and growing a portfolio of existing clients.
The successful candidate will have strong experience within the construction insurance sector and be confident building lasting relationships with clients, insurers, and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop new business opportunities generated through marketing campaigns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurers.
- Handle the full insurance placement process from quotation through to renewal.
- Provide expert advice on construction insurance risks and solutions.
- Manage and service an existing portfolio of clients.
- Negotiate terms and secure competitive cover for clients.
- Maintain accurate records using Acturis.
- Support the wider broking team where required.
Skills & Experience
- Proven insurance broking experience.
- Strong knowledge of the construction insurance market.
- Essential experience using Acturis.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
