Relationship Manager (Music)
Full-time, 37 hours per week

Grade D: Salary Range – £46,842 – £52,641
Location: Any of the Arts Council of Wales offices (Cardiff, Colwyn Bay or Carmarthen) with Hybrid Working

About this role
As Relationship Manager (Music), you’ll play a key role in supporting and developing Wales’s vibrant and diverse music sector.
Working closely with the Head of Music, you’ll:
– Build and maintain strong relationships across Wales’s music sector
– Support the delivery of music sector strategies and initiatives
– Act as a key point of contact for musicians and funded organisations
– Attend events and engage directly with artists, venues and communities
– Gather insight and intelligence to inform policy and decision-making
– Advocate for Welsh music across a wide range of genres and contexts

We’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of the music sector in Wales and a passion for supporting artists and communities.
In the role, you will:
– Build trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
– Communicate confidently and act as an advocate for the sector
– Work across multiple music genres and cultural contexts
– Bring insight, curiosity and a collaborative approach
– Be visible and engaged, attending events and connecting with people across Wales
– You’ll bring a commitment to inclusive practice and a desire to support the development of a diverse and sustainable music sector
Welsh language
We work in both Welsh and English.
Welsh language skills are essential for this role. You will need to be able to communicate in both English and Welsh in meetings, individually and in public.
