Experienced TA – Reception Class – Sudbury – Start Date 15th June
Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated Experienced Teaching Assistant to support a small Reception class in a warm and nurturing primary school in Sudbury. This role begins 15th June and will run until the end of the academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate practitioner who enjoys supporting early learners and contributing to a positive, engaging classroom environment.
The school is looking for a confident TA with strong communication skills, a caring approach, and the ability to work effectively as part of a supportive EYFS team.

Duration – Until end of academic year

Full time/part-time – Mornings (8:30am – 12pm), Monday-Friday

Additional hours – Potential for Fridays to extend to 12pm – 3:30pm

Minimum rate of pay – From £50 per day

Hours – 8:30am – 12pm (Mon-Fri), with possible extended Friday session
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
-
Experience supporting children in EYFS or primary settings
-
Understanding of early childhood development and Reception-age learning
-
Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable)
-
Relevant TA qualifications (desirable but not essential)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one

Provide two professional child-related references
