Conveyancing Technician – Fareham
A well-established and highly regarded regional law firm is looking to add an experienced Conveyancing Technician to its busy residential property team based in Fareham.
This is a great opportunity to join a friendly and supportive firm with a strong local reputation, where you’ll play a key role in delivering a smooth and efficient service to clients.
The role
You’ll be working alongside fee earners handling a busy caseload of residential conveyancing matters. Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for progressing files from instruction through to completion, with a particular focus on the administrative and procedural aspects of transactions.
Key responsibilities:
- Opening and closing files, and maintaining accurate case records
- Preparing contract packs and supporting documentation
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors
- Ordering searches and managing enquiries
- Drafting standard correspondence and legal documents
- Assisting with exchanges and completions
- Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements
About you
- Previous experience in a residential conveyancing support role (essential)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy workload
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Proactive approach and a team player mindset
- Familiarity with conveyancing case management systems
