£20,695 – £24,684 (pro rata)

About the Role
We are working with a well-established Further Education college who are looking to appoint a Teacher of Maths on a part-time basis (0.6 FTE).
This is a fantastic opportunity to support students in achieving their GCSE Maths and Functional Skills qualifications, while contributing to a supportive and forward-thinking curriculum team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons in GCSE Maths and Functional Skills
- Assess, track and monitor student progress
- Support learners to achieve their full potential
- Contribute to curriculum development
- Work collaboratively with curriculum teams
- Promote safeguarding, equality, and student wellbeing
- Participate in quality assurance and college activities
About You
- Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject
- Experience teaching GCSE Maths
- Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to motivate and engage learners of varying abilities
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
