Description
- Coordinate and monitor all logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Manage relationships with transport providers and negotiate contracts as needed.
- Oversee inventory levels and ensure stock accuracy across the supply chain.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with internal departments to streamline processes and resolve issues.
- Analyse logistics data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Generate and maintain accurate reports for management review.
- Address and resolve any delivery or supply chain disruptions efficiently.
Profile
A successful Logistics Co-ordinator should have:
- A strong understanding of logistics, import and export principles.
- Proficiency in relevant software and logistics management systems.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
