The Role
We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Harvest Operative to support our Intake Team during the busy harvest period. This is a 3-month temporary role, ideal for someone seeking summer work who enjoys practical tasks in a fast-paced operational environment.
You’ll play an important part in ensuring grain intake runs smoothly and meets our quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Sampling incoming lorries and checking grain against malting quality standards
- Supporting intake hygiene and maintaining clean, safe working areas
- Liaising with the grain team regarding deliveries and load information
- Testing harvest samples and recording basic results on spreadsheets
- Assisting the intake team with general operational tasks during peak periods
What We’re Looking For

- Good communication skills and a team-focused approach
- Willingness to follow procedures and complete training
- Ability to work in a physical, fast-paced environment
- Previous harvest or industrial experience is helpful but not essential
