SRG are delighted to once again be working with a specialist aerospace & defence manufacturing company based in North Lanarkshire to assist in their search for a senior quality engineer to ensure product quality and compliance against regulatory and specification requirements.
The Role
As senior quality engineer you will work closely with the operations, manufacturing & NPI business units to assure product quality is to internal, regulatory and customer standards, carrying out internal and external audits to AS9100 standards.
This role will involve reviewing of products and processes to ensure regulatory compliance & maximum efficiency. You will also carry out root cause analysis and corrective action against any non-conformance.
The role holder will be responsible for the management of the AS9100 quality Management System and will be responsible for training new & existing colleagues on the QMS and QC inspections.
The Right Person
- Certified Quality Management System auditor – AS9100 Desirable
- Prior experience working to AS9100 standards
- Demonstrable experience identifying and implementing process improvement
- Industrial knowledge of the process and controls used in the manufacture of high reliability products
- Comfortable interacting with and presenting to internal & external stakeholders
Role Details
- Salary up to £55,000 p/a
- Fully Dayshift & Mon-Fri (Half Day on a Friday)
