Job Summary
We are seeking an installation Engineer. The successful candidate will mainly work on installing our machinery into customers sites, completing site surveys and assisting within our test facility. The role will involve travel in the UK and Ireland.
Place of work: Field based out of Leighton Buzzard
Reports to Applications Team Manager
Salary Range Base: £40,000 – £45,000
Responsibilities:
- Complete on-site machine installations.
- Complete accurate site surveys prior to installations.
- Demonstrate machine function and capabilities for Customers.
- Maintain clear, accurate and timely records of all work undertaken.
- Provide support for the technical team.
- Comply with industry/company Health & Safety and Environmental requirements.
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues.
- Be Presentable, punctual and professional with customer
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in working in the food industry.
- At least 1 year of experience in completing installations.
- Formal technical qualification/apprenticeship.
- Demonstrate an understanding of Health & Safety.
- We are looking for someone with experience of working in a team completing installations.
- Mechanical and electrical knowledge.
- Energetic and able to think on their feet, with problem solving skills.
- Self-motivated and confident, able to work alone as well as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrate an eagerness to learn and develop.
