Primary Teacher – Islington
Location: Islington, North London
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Minimum 1-month contract (with the potential to be extended)
Pay: £205 – £268 per day
We are currently recruiting for a Primary Teacher to join a highly regarded, Outstanding Ofsted-rated primary school in Islington from September 2026.
This welcoming 2-form entry school has a strong leadership team, excellent behaviour standards, and a supportive teaching environment. The successful candidate will join a collaborative staff team committed to delivering high-quality education and ensuring every child reaches their full potential.
The Role
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Plan, prepare, and assess pupils' work to support progress and attainment.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to achieve the best outcomes for pupils.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning.

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
