Dental Technician – Prosthetics
A well-established and growing dental laboratory in Harrogate is seeking an experienced Prosthetic Dental Technician to join its skilled team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who takes pride in producing high-quality removable prosthetics and is looking to develop their career within a modern, forward-thinking laboratory environment. The Role
The successful candidate will be involved in the production of premium prosthetic restorations, ensuring consistently high standards of craftsmanship and patient-focused outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Casting and preparing models accurately
- Fabricating bite blocks and special trays
- Producing try-ins and completing final finishes
- Processing dentures using Ivocap injection systems
- Composite and acrylic staining and characterisation
- Manufacturing BPS dentures and implant-retained prostheses
- Maintaining organised workflows and high-quality standards
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues within the laboratory team
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Prosthetic Dental Technician
- Knowledge of digital dental workflows
- Experience with BPS prosthetics
- Understanding of implant-retained prosthetic work
- Familiarity with Ivocap injection systems
- Experience with composite and/or acrylic staining techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workloads effectively
- Team-oriented with a positive and proactive approach
