My Local Authority client in Yorkshire is looking to appoint a talented Service Director for Children's Health & Wellbeing on a Permanent basis.
This role will provide strategic leadership across a complex and evolving system. You will shape how services are delivered across health, social care, education and early help.
About the role:
Based in Yorkshire (hybrid):
- Lead the development of a more integrated, preventative approach to children's health & wellbeing.
- Bring together partners across the local authority, health services, VCSE and wider system.
- Ensure services are aligned and focused on improving outcomes for children & families.
- Support and drive system transformation, including strengthening commissioning approaches, delivering SEND reforms and developing sustainable models of provision.
About you:
You will have the following experiences:
- Extensive experience as a strategic leader, with successes in delivering improvement across complex children's systems.
- Strong ability to influence across organisational boundaries and lead in a complex, politically aware environment
- Experience of leading transformation at pace, managing significant budgets and resources to achieve VFM.
- Ability to travel to different locations around the district.
What's on offer:
- Salary: £103,463 PA
- Hybrid Working (predominantly on site)
- Contract type: Permanent
- Hours: 09:00 -17:00 Monday to Friday
