We have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Tools Coordinator based in Leighton Buzzard for one of our clients on a Full time Permanent basis.
Summary of the Workshop Tools Coordinator role
Salary: £30,000-£35,000
Location: Leighton Buzzard
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours working week, Monday-Friday
Responsibilities of theWorkshop Tools Coordinator
- Manage the stock of site tooling in support of the technical team
- Create tool kits, ensuring they are all present and allocated
- Update and maintain tooling database
- Ensure regular calibration of tooling is carried out
- Follow up on tolerance notifications
- Support customer tool loan requests
- Act as the main point of contact with tooling vendors
Requirements for a successful Workshop Tools Coordinator
- Previous experience within a similar role
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong IT skills
- Well organised with the ability to prioritise workloads
- Excellent attention to detail
- Adhere to all Environmental Health and safety regulations, business ethics and financial controls
- Maintain positive working relationships
