Job Title: Teacher of Computing and Digital Technologies

Location: Leyland

Contract: Permanent, Full-time (37 hours per week)

Salary: £33,166 – £51,691 per annum (+ up to £3,679 for Course Leader responsibilities)

About the Role

  • Deliver engaging teaching across Computing and Digital Technology programmes
  • Support learners to achieve strong academic outcomes and progression opportunities
  • Contribute to curriculum development and course innovation
  • Potential to take on Course Leader responsibilities for suitable candidates

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver and assess high-quality lessons across allocated courses
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to drive achievement
  • Support learners with guidance, pastoral care and progression advice
  • Engage with employers, schools and partners to enhance curriculum delivery

Candidate Requirements

  • Degree in Computing or a related subject
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE or willingness to achieve)
  • Experience delivering teaching or training in a relevant area
  • Strong IT skills and ability to deliver engaging, learner-focused sessions
