Warehouse Operative (Counterbalance FLT)
Ripon (driving licence required) | £27,206 per annum rising to £28,246 after 3 months | Paid Weekly | Full Time (Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm)
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their busy warehouse team. This is a hands-on role where you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth receipt, storage, picking and dispatch of goods, while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy and efficiency.
The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:

Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently

Operating FLT equipment (Counterbalance licence preferred – training can be provided for the right candidate)

Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently

Putting stock away in correct locations

Completing warehouse documentation and paperwork accurately

Supporting stock control and carrying out stock adjustments when required

Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment at all times

Working as part of a team to meet operational targets and customer expectations

Following all health & safety procedures and site rules
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous warehouse experience

A valid FLT Counterbalance licence (preferred, but not essential as training can be provided)

Good understanding of health & safety in a warehouse environment

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Basic numeracy and literacy skills

A reliable and team-focused approach
