A highly regarded 1-form entry primary school in Chiswick is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Teacher to join their Early Years team from September 2026 on a full-time, long-term basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to teach in a well-resourced Nursery setting with a class of just 12 children, supported by a dedicated Teaching Assistant. The school is looking for a practitioner who is passionate about early childhood education and can provide high-quality learning experiences that help children develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
Located close to the District Line and several bus routes, the school is easily accessible from across West and South West London.

The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Lead the Nursery class from September 2026
- Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate learning opportunities in line with the EYFS Framework
- Create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment
- Support children's communication, language, social, and emotional development
- Work closely with support staff and families to ensure positive outcomes for all children
- Monitor and assess progress effectively and use assessment to inform planning
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for a teacher who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS)
- Has experience teaching within Nursery or Early Years settings
- Has a strong understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum
- Can create engaging learning experiences both indoors and outdoors
- Builds positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Has high expectations for children's learning and development
