Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working with a welcoming primary school in Newport to recruit a dedicated Year 2 Teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to creating a positive learning environment and helping pupils achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will join a supportive staff team and play a key role in pupils' academic and personal development.
Required for the Role
• DBS Child Workforce registered on the Update Service • Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) • Right to work in the UK • Two professional teaching references • Strong classroom management skills and a positive attitude

Responsibilities
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Primary Curriculum • Assessing and monitoring pupil progress • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment • Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues • Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and academic development • Maintaining high standards of behaviour and safeguarding
