A well regarded regional law firm is seeking a Childcare Solicitor to join its established Family department. This is a strong opportunity to handle meaningful public law work within a supportive and experienced team.
The successful candidate will manage a caseload of care proceedings and related child protection matters, representing parents, children or other parties in Public Law Outline and court proceedings. The role will involve advocacy where appropriate, attendance at hearings and working closely with clients, social services and guardians.
The firm is seeking:
- A qualified Solicitor with experience in public childcare law
- Confidence managing care proceedings independently
- Strong advocacy and client care skills
- Ability to work sensitively and effectively in complex situations
Children Panel membership or working towards accreditation would be advantageous but is not essential.
