Private Client Legal Secretary – Full-Time
An established and well-regarded firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Legal Secretary to provide dedicated secretarial support to a busy fee earner. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a professional, client-focused environment and enjoys working within Private Client services.
About the Role
In this position, you will provide comprehensive secretarial support, including:
- Handling telephone enquiries and assisting clients in a sensitive and professional manner
- Managing diaries and booking appointments
- Producing a variety of legal documents, letters, and forms from digital dictation (such as Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, and HMRC forms)
- Ensuring all documentation is prepared accurately and within expected timeframes
- Supporting the smooth running of Private Client work through strong organisation and attention to detail
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- At least 1 year of experience in a Private Client secretarial role
- Strong understanding of Private Client documentation and processes
- Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner
- High level of accuracy when transcribing digital dictation
- Confident IT skills, particularly in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
- The ability to learn new systems quickly
- A warm, supportive approach when dealing with clients and third parties
