SEN Teacher – Specialist Provisions

£160+ per day (dependent on experience)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and dedicated SEN Teacher to work within specialist provisions across the Chorley area and surrounding locations.
This is a full-time opportunity supporting students with a range of additional needs within specialist educational settings. The successful candidate must be adaptable, resilient, and passionate about supporting vulnerable learners to achieve their full potential.
Role Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual student needs
- Supporting students with SEND and SEMH additional needs
- Creating a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
- Managing behaviour effectively and promoting emotional regulation
- Working closely with Teaching Assistants, pastoral staff, and external professionals
- Monitoring student progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous experience teaching within specialist provisions
- Able to travel across Chorley and surrounding areas
- Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service or willingness to pay and apply for one
- Minimum 24 months employment references
- Strong behaviour management and adaptability skills
