A top-tier home interiors retailer, with a strong presence both online and on the High Street, is looking for a Retail Showroom Advisor in Brighton's vibrant city centre. This role is perfect for someone who combines a passion for design with a knack for delivering exceptional customer service.
Be the Expert, Not the Salesperson
We prioritise a consultative approach. You'll play a key role in helping our customers make informed choices, offering valuable insights without the pressure of hard sales tactics. Your role will involve simplifying the finer details and building customer confidence throughout their shopping journey and beyond.
In This Role, You Will:
- Welcome and assist customers in our high-end showroom
- Handle enquiries over the phone and via email with professionalism
- Prepare detailed quotes and learn the basics of building materials and heating principles
- Training is provided for reading architectural plans if you're new to this aspect of the role

What We're Looking for in a Retail Showroom Advisor
Essentials:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong command of spoken and written English
- A self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Organised and able to manage multiple responsibilities
Desirable Qualities:
- Previous experience in luxury retail
- Degree-level education (in any field)
- Interest in interior design trends
- Experience in opening and closing retail premises

- Competitive salary £28-£30,000
- 20 days of holiday plus bank holidays

- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday 9am-5pm ; with two Saturdays 10am-4pm (alternate Saturdays), a weekday given off for all Saturdays worked)
