Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Clacton-on-Sea, Tendring, Essex

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to take the next step in their career, or for an established HLTA seeking a new challenge within a thriving educational environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, delivering planned lessons, supporting small groups and individual learners, and helping to raise attainment and engagement.
The successful HLTA will:

Hold HLTA status or have relevant experience working at an equivalent level.

Have experience supporting pupils within a primary or secondary school setting.

Be confident leading whole-class learning in the absence of the class teacher.

Demonstrate strong behaviour management and communication skills.

Be committed to supporting pupils of all abilities to achieve their full potential.

Work effectively as part of a collaborative school team.
