About the Role
Are you ready to support the future of critical infrastructure and advanced technical environments?
We are seeking a skilled Mobile Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic maintenance team supporting multiple secure and operational sites across Scotland and the North-West of England.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of essential electrical systems. You will work across varied environments, supporting both planned maintenance and responsive repairs on a wide range of electrical plant and building services.
This is a hands-on, mobile position suited to someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and technical challenge.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance across electrical systems, plant, and building services
- Provide technical support for electrical infrastructure, including building wiring systems
- Prioritise and manage workloads effectively to meet operational demands
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Participate in an on-call rota within the maintenance team
- Monitor and support contractor performance and site activities
- Work independently across multiple sites while maintaining high standards of service
Essential Experience
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance within commercial, industrial, or similar environments
- Ability to work across multiple locations and manage changing priorities
- Strong understanding of electrical regulations and technical standards
- Confident working independently and as part of a wider team
- Strong diagnostic, fault-finding, and problem-solving skills
Essential Qualifications
- Electrical Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation/Maintenance (or equivalent)
- Good understanding of current IEE Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
- Full UK driving licence (clean)
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Authorised Person (Low Voltage), JSP, or CompEx qualifications/experience
- If not already held, full training and development support will be provided
