Are you passionate about supporting the mental health of young people?
A specialist school in Slough for children with significant Special Educational Needs is seeking a Teaching Assistant – Mental Health to work with children and adolescents aged 8 to 18 facing trauma, mental health, and behavioural challenges as well as complex learning needs.
This full-time role is perfect for graduates in Psychology, Counselling, Criminology, or related fields, but relevant experience will also be considered. The school is based in Slough, with great transport links across the city.
As a Teaching Assistant – Mental Health, you will work alongside therapists and psychologists, gaining valuable hands-on experience with children who have significant emotional and developmental needs. You will support their mental health, personal growth, and well-being in a dynamic setting. This role also offers experience with SEN, including Autism and ADHD.

- Salary: £90-£105 per day
- Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:00pm
- Start Date: ASAP
- Ideal for: Psychology, Counselling, or Criminology Graduates or anyone wanting to support children with mental health needs
- Experience: Preferred but not essential
