Finance & Business Manager (Part-Time, Remote)
I'm working with a well-established not-for-profit organisation to appoint a Finance & Business Manager into a key role within their small but high-performing team.
This is a part-time opportunity (0.5 FTE) offering genuine flexibility and autonomy, while still providing exposure at a senior level.
The role
Reporting into the Director of Finance, you'll take ownership of a broad and hands-on finance remit, including:
- Leading month-end and producing management accounts, cashflow and analysis.
- Overseeing VAT returns (including European / OSS requirements).
- Supporting the annual audit and statutory accounts process.
- Budgeting, forecasting and financial planning Partnering with senior stakeholders and Trustees to support decision-making.
- Managing and developing a Finance Assistant.
This is a role that combines hands-on delivery with genuine business partnering.
About you
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA).
- Strong experience across the full finance cycle, including reporting and audit
- Confident working with VAT (charity or international exposure is advantageous).
- Experience using Xero (highly desirable).
- Comfortable operating in a small, remote team and building relationships with non-finance stakeholders
