Claims Fraud Specialist
Location: Warwick, Warwickshire
Salary: Up to £40,000 plus Excellent Benefits
Our client, a leading insurance organisation, has created a new role of Claims Fraud Specialist in their Claims team. They need an investigative professional with a strong understanding of motor or property insurance fraud to play a key role in identifying, researching, and preventing fraudulent insurance claims. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, external investigators, and motor insurers to ensure suspicious claims are thoroughly investigated while supporting the continuous development of fraud prevention strategies and controls.
Key Responsibilities of Claims Fraud Specialist
- Manage and investigate complex fraud cases arising from Insurance claims.
- Identify and investigate potentially staged or contrived accidents, organised fraud, and policy fraud.
- Gather, review, and analyse evidence from claim files, databases, surveillance reports, and social media platforms.
- Conduct detailed interviews and statement-taking with policyholders, claimants, witnesses, and other relevant parties.
- Produce comprehensive investigation reports, recommendations regarding claim validity, and claim declinature correspondence.
Skills & Experience needed to be a Claims Fraud Specialist
- Previous experience in motor or property insurance fraud investigations, law enforcement, insurance claims, or a related investigative role.
- Experience conducting interviews and obtaining witness or claimant statements.
- Strong knowledge of fraud claims and investigative methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and competing priorities
