My client is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Lawyer to join their Commercial Property team in their office based in Nottingham.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage a varied caseload of commercial property matters from start to finish.
• Advise clients on a wide range of commercial property issues and transactions.
• Draft, review and negotiate legal documentation and correspondence.
• Conduct negotiations on behalf of clients and achieve successful outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Meet agreed billing and performance targets.
Business Development and Client Relationships
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, referrers and other external contacts.
• Actively contribute to the growth and profile of the commercial property department.
• Deliver excellent levels of client care and service.
• Maintain and promote the professional reputation of the practice.
General Responsibilities
• Manage workload effectively and work flexibly to meet business needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection requirements.
• Use case management and financial systems efficiently and accurately.
• Adhere to all relevant regulatory, compliance, health and safety, equality, diversity and inclusion, and anti-money laundering policies and procedures.
• Undertake any other duties appropriate to the level of the role.
Candidate Requirements
• Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) in commercial property law.
• Proven experience handling commercial property sales, purchases and lease transactions from instruction to completion.
• Experience advising developers, landlords and tenants.
• Demonstrable experience managing a busy and varied caseload independently.
• Track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Proven ability to meet billing and performance targets.
Qualifications
• Qualified Solicitor (SRA registered) or Chartered Legal Executive (MCILEX).
