Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our team in Birmingham for our customer, a British retailer, WHSmith.
You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, contracted to 45 hours per week. We are currently recruiting for the following shifts:
- ‘Any 5 days out of 7’, with start times between 00:00 and 11:59 (AM shift)
- ‘Any 5 days out of 7’, with start times between 12:00 and 23:59 (PM shift)

- An annual salary of £33,560.00 if working AM shift
- An annual salary of £36,459.00 if working PM shift

What you will do on a typical day:
- Carry out multidrop deliveries to retail spaces while collecting returns from stores in line with operational requirements
- Handle both palletised goods and cages, ensuring safe and efficient loading and unloading procedures
- Maintain clear communication with the Depot Transport Office regarding any issues and deliver exemplary customer service by being polite and courteous at all times
- Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner??????? while ensuring required documents are completed accurately and on time
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous experience driving Class 2 vehicles is essential
- Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
- Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards
- No more than 6 current penalty points
- DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements
