Role- Science Teacher
Location– Trafford
Teaching personnel are currently looking for a Science Teacher to work in a respected and welcoming Secondary School in the Trafford area. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified teacher or an experienced teacher to join their dynamic and supportive science department to excel their teaching career further. It is a full time long term role looking to start in September. The school has great public transport links with access to buses and trams and also to staff car parks.
The salary for this role is between £150-£200 per day dependent on experience
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Specialism in Chemistry, Physics or Biology is desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to ensure classroom management
- Passionate about teaching science to encourage and inspire students’ academic abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare students for GCSE science exams by providing high quality learning and confidence in delivering lessons.
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and interactive lessons for both KS3 and KS4 students.
- Be confident using practical experiments, real-world examples and technology for the benefit of the students.
- Laise with different colleagues and staff members to ensure productive learning strategies are being prioritised.
- Offer targeted interventions for students who may be struggling/ under achieving.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
