Account Executive

As a Media Insurance Account Executive, you will manage and develop a £700,000 income portfolio across media, entertainment, production, advertising, influencer, and creative industry clients. Acting as the lead client contact, you will provide strategic insurance advice, oversee service delivery, coordinate broking activity, and drive portfolio growth through retention and new business acquisition.

Working closely with clients, you will deliver tailored insurance and risk management solutions while advising on emerging risks within a dynamic and fast-moving sector.

Client Relationship Management

  • Manage and develop a £700,000 annual income book
  • Lead client relationships, service delivery, and broking coordination
  • Develop Client Service Plans and strategic account plans
  • Understand clients' businesses, operations, and objectives
  • Conduct client meetings and site visits to identify emerging risks
  • Ensure clients understand policy coverage, conditions, and limitations
  • Negotiate remuneration and oversee credit control
  • Collaborate with Claims, Risk Management, Employee Benefits, Credit, and Private Clients teams
  • Drive client retention and organic growth opportunities

New Business Development

  • Achieve revenue targets through portfolio growth and new business generation
  • Identify and convert opportunities across media, entertainment, advertising, production, and creator economy sectors
  • Maintain an active pipeline within Acturis
  • Establish client requirements and design insurance programmes
  • Complete fact-finds and gather underwriting information
  • Support market placement strategies and insurer negotiations
  • Review client presentations and recommendations
  • Build strong insurer relationships

Renewal Management

  • Develop and execute renewal and re-broking strategies
  • Review changes in client operations, risks, and insurance requirements
  • Update fact-finds and underwriting information
  • Collaborate with brokers and account handling teams
  • Negotiate renewal terms and coverage enhancements
  • Ensure timely and compliant renewals

Risk Advisory & Sector Expertise

Provide strategic advice on:

  • Influencer, content creator, and digital talent risks
  • Reputational and contractual exposures
  • Cyber security and data protection
  • Intellectual property and copyright risks
  • Extreme filming and production environments
  • International productions and travel risks
  • Event, talent, and production disruption exposures
  • Evolving regulatory and commercial risks within the media sector
