Field Service Engineer (Forklift)

£19.50ph to £25ph DOE (Salary £40,560 to £52,000) + Regular Overtime (1.5x – 2x – OTE Up to £60,000) + Company Van (Can be used Personally) + Call Out (1 in 8 weeks) + 30 Days Holiday (Increasing up to 33 Days) + Tablet + Mobile Phone
40 Hours per Week – Standard Hours 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday
Forklift Service Engineer required for a leading supplier of material handling equipment. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established hire company with a history of 30 years who are offering a competitive salary, leading manufacturer training and regular overtime opportunities.
The successful candidate for this role will have previous experience working with forklifts and will have experience with servicing, diagnostics and repairs. Candidates with experience working on other heavy plant equipment are encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned servicing, examinations, diagnostics and repairs on forklifts at customer sites. This will involve working with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
You will occasionally support activities in the Aberdeen workshop however the focus of the role will be field based. Approximately 90% of the work is based in the greater Aberdeen area, however you will also be required to travel further afield for routine service visits three to four times a year.
Forklift Service Engineer Role:
· Service and repair of forklift trucks
· Diagnostic activities on mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
· Completion of company documentation
The Candidate Required:
· Experienced forklift engineer or experience working with heavy plant equipment within agriculture or construction
