A well-established and reputable law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its busy Property team in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional to manage a varied caseload within a supportive and client-focused environment, delivering efficient and high-quality conveyancing services.
The successful candidate will manage their own files with a high degree of autonomy while maintaining strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders throughout the transaction process.
Key Responsibilities
Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.
Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
Managing remortgages, transfers of equity, and new build transactions.
Dealing with shared ownership schemes, Help to Buy matters, and lease extensions.
Reviewing title documentation and raising appropriate enquiries.
Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors.
Ensuring all transactions progress efficiently and within required timescales.
Preparing contract packs, reports on title, and completion documentation.
Handling post-completion work, including Land Registry applications and SDLT submissions.
Providing clear and regular updates to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer (CLC), Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx), or experienced non-qualified Conveyancer with a proven ability to manage a caseload independently.
Strong technical knowledge of residential property law and procedures.
Experience handling a broad range of conveyancing transactions.
Excellent communication and client care skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
High level of attention to detail.
Experience using case management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
