Salary: Competitive daily rates / MPS & UPS equivalent

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teachers to work across a range of primary schools in the S10 area and surrounding communities. Working within Early Years, you will play a key role in creating engaging learning experiences that inspire curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning during the most important stages of a child's development.

The Role

As an EYFS Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the EYFS Framework.
  • Create a stimulating, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
  • Support children's academic, social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress effectively.
  • Use observations and assessments to inform future planning and learning activities.
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues.
  • Promote children's wellbeing, safeguarding, and development at all times.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and Early Years provision.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Experience teaching within an EYFS setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS Statutory Framework.
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
  • A creative and child-centred approach to teaching and learning.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel.
