Class 1 Driver – Liverpool | Temp to Perm Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join a busy distribution operation based in the Liverpool area. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for drivers seeking long-term, stable employment.
Shift Pattern:
- Monday to Friday
- Start time: 09:00am ( 8 hour days)
The Role:
As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for completing collections and deliveries across the region, ensuring goods are transported safely and efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
Duties will include:
- Completing scheduled collections and deliveries
- Assisting with loading and unloading at depot and customer locations
- Using handheld devices and company systems to update delivery information and job statuses
- Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport regulations
- Communicating effectively with transport teams and customers
- Following all driver hours, health and safety, and company procedures
Please note that this is a physically active role and regular manual handling will be required.
Requirements:
- Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- A professional and reliable approach to work
- Good communication skills
- Previous Class 1 driving experience ( 1 year minimum )
