Full-Time office based role – Monday – Friday
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 (DOE) + Benefits
The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an organised and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator / Administrator to join a growing and dynamic business based in Basildon.
This role is pivotal in supporting the smooth running of the operations department, ensuring senior staff are fully supported with coordination, compliance, and reporting activities. This is an ideal position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily operational activities to ensure processes run efficiently
- Maintain accurate records across databases and filing systems
- Prepare, update and manage operational documentation and reports
- Liaise with customers, technicians, and suppliers on operational matters
- Monitor deadlines to ensure all documentation is completed on time
- Act as the main office point of contact for a designated team of site-based technicians
- Coordinate and support scheduling of nationwide water and air hygiene works
- Assist with operational improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide general administrative and operational support as required
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative or operations support role
- Strong IT skills with good overall computer literacy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Geographical knowledge of the UK (beneficial but not essential)
Salary, Hours & Benefits
- £28,000 – £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Working hours between 08:00 – 17:30 (7.5-hour shifts with a 1-hour lunch break)
- 20 days annual leave plus public holidays
- Pension scheme (auto-enrolment after 3 months, subject to eligibility)

- 6-month probationary period
