Conveyancing Paralegal – London (E1)

Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 (DOE)

A well-established law firm in London is seeking a Conveyancing Paralegal to join its busy property department. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to fee earners, including file opening, document management, and handling correspondence
- Manage incoming calls, emails, post, and online portals efficiently
- Draft legal documents and bills under supervision using appropriate templates and precedents
- Assist with the progression of conveyancing matters, including liaising with clients, solicitors, lenders, and third parties
- Handle basic legal processes such as preparing forms, arranging funding, and supporting case progression through relevant systems
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and transaction details
- Prepare completion statements and assist with post-completion matters
- Ensure clients are regularly updated on the progress of their cases
- Review and obtain documentation from clients and third parties, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Support compliance with firm policies, including data protection, confidentiality, and file management procedures
- Assist with anti-money laundering checks and file audits in line with risk management policies
- Deliver a consistently high level of client service
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a conveyancing or property law environment.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
- A proactive and professional approach with a strong client-focused mindset
