JHE & Partners are delighted to be working exclusively with a longstanding manufacturing client of ours, in their search for a Payroll and HR Coordinator on a permanent basis. Working 30 hours per week over 5 days, this is a superb opportunity for a professional and experienced candidate overseeing both weekly and monthly payroll.
Working in a wider finance team of five and reporting into the managing director, the chosen candidate will have full autonomy over the RTI payroll function for the business. Additionally, you will possess some strong HR administration skills working closely with the senior management team.
Duties include:
- Administer and solely oversee both weekly and monthly payroll on the internal software system
- Process payments to HMRC in line with all deadlines
- Produce weekly absence and overtime reports
- Maintain the online portal system and overseeing the clocking-in system, onboarding new starters and rectifying any issues that arise
- Manage all holiday, sickness, absence and overtime records
- Provide monthly holiday reports for senior managements
- Provide general HR admin support, consult with third party insurers maintaining compliance
- Prepare contracts and assist with disciplinaries
- Manage annual renewals of life insurance
- Continuously ensure GDPR compliance
Person specification
- Ideally possess manufacturing experience
- Proven experience working in an end-to-end payroll position
- Be fully up to date with payroll legislation
- Good understanding of HR processes
- Strong attention to detail, highly accurate
This is a very desirable role for a candidate looking for reduced hours. There is an excellent salary on offer between £45,000 – £50,000 (pro rata) with private health insurance, auto enrolled pension and free parking.
