QS Mechanical (Piping) – £450/day Outside IR35
Location: Point of Ayr, North Wales
Contract Length: 12 Months
ARM is recruiting for an experienced QS Mechanical professional to support a major energy sector project in North Wales.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update project Bills of Quantities and quantity records.
- Update project management databases with construction progress data.
- Support the preparation and verification of extra works, NPs, and CWOs.
- Ensure quantity and cost data complies with project procedures and subcontract requirements.
- Assist with quantity reporting and cost forecasting.
- Monitor subcontractor manhours, equipment usage, and installed quantities.
- Support the administration and settlement of subcontractor and client claims.
- Coordinate spooling, welding, and material traceability systems.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years' experience as a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor.
- Strong piping experience within energy, oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial projects.
- Knowledge of piping classes, material families, weld mapping, and material traceability.
- Experience with quantity management systems and subcontract administration.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office 365 skills.
