Contract Java Full Stack Developer
Rate: £375-£400 per day

Location: Fully remote working
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced contract Java Full Stack Developer to join a large-scale digital transformation programme focused on modernising and enhancing a complex enterprise platform. The contract Java Full Stack Developer will work within an agile development team, you'll contribute to the ongoing support and evolution of a business-critical application suite while helping to shape the next generation SaaS solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working on challenging technical problems, modern architectures, and platform transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain scalable full stack applications.
- Build and enhance RESTful APIs and web-based services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.
- Support the modernisation of legacy systems into a unified SaaS platform.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions and solution design.
Essential Skills
- Strong commercial experience with Java v17-21.
- Experience developing applications using Spring Boot 3.x.
- Front-end development expertise with Angular v16/17.
- Solid understanding of software design principles and object-oriented programming.
- Knowledge of SOLID principles and modern development practices.
- Experience across the full software development lifecycle.
- Proven experience with unit testing and integration testing.
